Celebrating Baby Casey – Newborn NICU Photography

I had the honor of meeting baby Casey recently. He and his identical twin brother, Rory, were born on April 1 when mom was just 28 weeks. After a strong fight, baby Rory didn’t make it. His spirit will live on in his amazing mom, dad, big sister and of course his brother, Casey. Casey is now 7 weeks old, 3 lbs 13 oz and doing great. I was so lucky to be there the first day he began taking bottles! I truly admire this family for their strength and love for this little guy. There’s no doubt that having a baby in the NICU and a toddler at home is incredibly difficult, but their love for Casey and positive outlook is getting them through. Here is a glimpse into their lives in the NICU when Casey was 5 weeks old.
