Apple Truck Mini Sessions – Cleveland’s Best

The 3rd annual Apple Truck Mini Sessions took place this month! It’s been so much fun doing this year after year and shockingly I don’t think I have ever made a blog post about it (probably because I’m so crazy crazy CRAZY busy in October!). I wanted to take a minute to share some photos from this year’s Apple Truck Mini and also answer burning questions I have gotten.

Q: Where did you get that truck?
A: A couple years ago I had this idea to fill a truck with apples. I didn’t want just any truck though. I wanted a rusty old pick up with LOTS of character. I made a post on Facebook and was lucky enough that a super sweet family had just the truck I was looking for! Each year they let me borrow it (we have a little trade deal).

Q: Where do the Apple Truck Minis take place?
A: Another bit of luck. The brother of the truck owner has a SUPER cool property with very cool rustic settings and amazingly beautiful trees (and this year they happened to have donkeys available for entertainment as well – haha!). They are kind enough to let me use their private property.

Q: Where do you get all of those apples? Do you buy them??
A: I get them from Mapleside Farms and yes I buy them. All 10 bushels.

Now the real burning question – will there be a 4th annual Apple Truck Mini!? We’ll see.
