Hi, I’m Leigh (rhymes with 'bee').
Mom, wife and over user of the :) symbol.

I have two super hilarious kids and a pretty wonderful husband and I totally overuse the smiley face symbol. :) When I am not clicking, editing, or overusing the :) on the Leigh Roth Photography Facebook page, I am usually cleaning up after the aforementioned people. They are messy.

So how did I get here? It’s funny, I started out with a passion for art and design, which led me to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. After many years working in the advertising and design world, I said phooey to it all in 2011 and decided to take my “on the side” business to full time.

Now I get to work with really cool people that are a lot like me, act like a total goofball with little kids, snuggle with babies, and create art through photography. Plus, I still get to design fun things like this thing you’re reading right now.

My training and experience with design definitely helped me as a photographer. Not only did I learn the software before learning the ins and outs of my camera, but I learned the fundamentals of what looks GOOD.

I find this work exhilarating, fast paced and super fun. And, I get to be creative. Pretty. Darn. Awesome.

My Style:
My photographic style is modern, natural, colorful and fun. I strive to capture genuine expressions and personalities during a stress-free session. The end result is beautiful artwork that you will cherish for years to come.
